My name is Xavi García. I was born and raised in Barcelona, despite or maybe because of that, I have always been attracted to natural environments. I frequently leave the city to go to the mountains or rural areas. Hiking, rock climbing or just reading under a tree are some of my favourite activities, even though road biking is by far my favourite. Why use a car and gasoline when you can do it on a bike, enjoying the surroundings, and meeting other people with the same passion?

I studied chemistry and worked using my degree for 3 years, but felt like all the time I spent in front of a computer was time I couldn't be enjoying the fresh air. Therefore I turned my passion into a job and started working as tour guide four years ago. This allowed me to spend more time on the bike, showing my beautiful country to anyone who enjoys road, touring or mountain biking.
