A very well run week of adventure with the Team Leader being particularly impressive.

The trip fully met my needs and Alisa and Steve were exceptional. Weather conditions limited some of our activities, but for me, it was all OK. Our group was made up of many different personalities, covering the spectrum. Again, Steve and Alisa did the best they could to cover all bases to see that all were happy.. Below you ask about a "rewards Program"--I am a solid supporter of Austin Adventures without the need for a discount or reward--I recommend Austin "without reservation".

This was my first tour group vacation with everything being included and overall, I was very happy with the food selections and the activities. Our two guides, Steve and Alisa were fantastic!! We did have one lunch experience that didn't go well, but there were no other options at the time - all of the other lunch and dinner spots were great. The one issue I had at the end of our trip was the cancellation of the dog sledding. While I completely understand that it was a weather issue, it changed everything for that day. We also had that activity included in our payment, so we lost out on the experience and the money. I have been a concierge for many years, so I understand that, but it would have been nice if AA could have paid for our one night on our own since we didn't get to go dogsledding. The dinners would have been a lot less than the dog sledding. This was the most expensive trip that I've ever taken for this short of a time, but I knew that I couldn't have gone without a group like this. It was really nice having someone pre-plan the meal spots, drive and get all of the equipment and take care of tips along the way. Experiencing Yellowstone in the winter with a small group was just wonderful!!!

The Active Adventures Tortuga trip provided great mix and range of activities. We got to experience the Galapagos in a variety of ways, from land and sea. We saw more wildlife than we could have imagined, including thousands of marine iguanas and sea lions. The vistas ranged from austere lava fields to lush highland forests. The food and accommodations were great. If you like fresh fruit and seafood, the Galapagos have your number. The logistical arrangements went without a hitch, which is surely a testament to a lot of work behind the scenes at Active Adventures. In the front of the scenes, Pablo and Paolo were world-class guides. Highly recommended.

Absolutely a fantastic trip!. We were a group of 10 good friends and our 'brilliant' guides Elder & Steve became part of our wider family! They were informative, entertaining, anticipated our every need (plus great cooks) making our holiday even more special. Our 5-day adventure went seamlessly, including the fortune of great weather throughout. What a magnificent country we live in - we were in awe of the stunning scenery & experience!
